For me it all started with a 1994 Rocky Mountain Hammer that fueled my early mountain biking passion for riding and tinkering with the bike. That frame saw itself get built up in so many different configurations; XC, trail hardtail, trials bike, early freeride hardtail, teaching me how to ride and maintain mountain bikes along the way. It still lives in my shop today built up as my dream retro ride. Since then I’ve built countless custom dream bikes over this time for myself, friends and clients. The first full custom bike that I did for a client was a 2000 Santa Cruz Superlight dream build that is actually still in the collection of the original owner!
